Mántica recognizes the importance of Research and Innovation as one of the main drivers of the economy. Our goal is to identify new technologies, solutions and methodologies to offer our customers a differential value and a competitive advantage, allowing them to be increasingly competitive. Therefore, since our foundation, we are participating in regional, national and European R&D&i frameworks.
TelcoDev aims at contributing to the development of NGN convergent services by designing useful tools for the developers based on the combination of services from both Web and Telco worlds. The project resumes and enhances the successful work achieved by the consortium in the former project TelcoBlocks, where it was designed a telco reusable-components model based on state machines, a service creation environment, as well as several VoIP services over JAIN SLEE and SIP Servlet platforms.
TelcoDev received the label of INES (Iniciativa Española de Software y Servicios) and is also supported by the Plataforma Tecnológica Española de Convergencia hacia Internet del Futuro es.INTERNET.

SERVERY (Service Platform for Innovative Communication Environment) is addressing the still unsolved problem of designing, developing and putting into operation efficient and innovative mobile service creation/execution platforms for networks beyond 3G. This project will research, prototype and evaluate an extendable overlay architecture and framework to support, easy and quick service creation, test and deployment of intelligent mobile communication and information services. For users, operators and service providers, the SERVERY project will turn today's confusing heterogeneity into an easily manageable and rich service environment by exploiting the diversity of device capabilities and fostering service adoption.
SERVERY received CELTIC label in 2008

VulneraNET will research the automation of testing of security web applications, based on semantinc and web 2.0 technologies for the designing of vulnerabilities detection, prediction and correction procedures. The goal is to simplify the vulnerabilities correction - reducing efforts and associated times – by designing a centralized and user friendly control panel that integrates heterogeneous security tools. The architecture will be extensible with plugins.

TelcoBlocks will research a methodology for the guidance and quick development of telecom services. As result, the project will provide an open and extensible framework for the creation of services for Next Generation Networks (NGN), with a library of events, generic services and functional building blocks. The framework will be focused at this stage on messaging and VoIP applications.
TelcoBlocks is supported Telefónica Móviles España and KPN Spain.
