MÁNTICA CREATES A NEW BUSINESS LINE FOR DIAMETER PROTOCOL INTEGRATION
Madrid – September
the 10th – 2008 – Mántica announces the creation of a new business line focused in the
protocol Diameter as the basis for the delivery of new professional services to
support operators, NEV’s and integrators in the migration to NGN and rollout of
new All-IP based networks. The company states that along with the distribution
of partner’s solutions, there are also plans for the launching of Diameter
based products developed in-house.
“Diameter is required in over 60% of the NGN elements
and is critical to the Authentication, Authorization and Accounting and
Charging services provided by core NGN”, states Miguel Ángel Núñez, Technical
Director at Mántica, who also adds: “But despite of its IT nature, application
of Diameter protocol in the core network requires a well-proven expertise in
the telecom domain, just where Mántica has showed its skills and talent in the
last years.”
