MÁNTICA COLLABORATES IN THE EUROPEAN PROJECT SERVERY

Madrid – July the 15th, 2008 – Mántica collaborates in the development of SERVERY,
European R+D+i project that has been granted with one of the 26 available
CELTIC labels for the Call 5. Mántica will participate in a consortium comprising
over 20 technology partners such as the operators Telefónica and France
Telecom, the NEVs Nokia-Siemens and NEC,
as well as several Research Centres and Universities like the Universidad Politécnica
de Valencia.
SERVERY will start in October 2008 with a planning of
3 years, and will involve an investment of more than 18 Millions EUR. SERVERY
aims the design and implementation of a dynamic service creation environment
for the merger of the Internet and Telco worlds. The project will combine the
flexibility of the Internet and the reliability of the Telco domain as the main
advantages of the respective worlds. SERVERY will result in the necessary
mechanisms for an efficient and quick creation of convergent value added services
for the upcoming NGNs.
