And now, the big question is, what is new in IMSAgent Evolution Pack 17?
IMSAgent is the first cloud native active probing system based on AWS Cloud. IMSAgent customers can now take advantage of one of the most secure, reliable, flexible and stable cloud computing platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), for deploying our native virtualized active probe. Customers will leverage the agility to start measuring immediately, from one single virtual probe and few concurrent Test Cases running to multiple of them, scaling up or down based on demand easily
HTTP test cases. At MANTICA, we are always listening to our customers. In EP17, we have implemented new test cases aimed to monitor the internet connection.
Periodic tests. Now it is possible to schedule periodic tests that runs every hour or every day. Not only single tests, but also a set of test cases can be periodically carried out, which makes IMSAgent a really automated and powerful testing and monitoring tool.
Enhanced service errors handling. A new set of service error detection capabilities is provided in all RCS Test Cases. A more comprehensive and detailed errors description is returned, allowing to detect more accurately any failure in the network.
New radio metrics are now measured. Aiming to provide more visibility over the radio environment, new signal quality metrics are collected when running a test.
Security improvements. Access to Mantica Reporting Services (MRS) takes places now over SSL (using HTTPS), ensuring secure communication between our customers’ web browser and the MRS server.
