The latest version of IMSAgent is 13.1 and includes the latest and greatest features from Mantica Solutions R&D team.
MANTICA is proud to announce the IMSAgent Evolution Pack 13. It provides ongoing support for testing and monitoring services in relation to VoLTE, WiFi Calling (VoWiFi), Voice over Broadband and Rich Communication Services (RCS). This new release features over 180 improvements and 8 test cases to the most popular Active Testing and Monitoring IMS agent, with two major features aimed at testers and service assurance teams: New test case parameters intended to help the user with several options in order to define the duration of the call and settings codecs offered by the originating party, and GSMA - RCS Enrich Calling (Pre-call experience).
#IMSAgent Evolution Pack 13 is independent of software-based IMS client devices and has been designed according to the most relevant industry standards: IR.92, IR.94, IR.25, IR.51, IR.90, IR.95, IR.65.
And now, the big question is, what is new in IMSAgent Evolution Pack 13?
Configurability in the IMS Agent: Duration of the call with POLQA. The duration of the calls could already be configured in the test cases however POLQA score was measured only if the duration was lower than 1 minute. The POLQA score is now measured in every call, no matter the call duration.
Configurability in the IMS Agent: Codec, mode and format. The VoLTE voice call and video call test cases have been parametrized to allow setting the codecs offered by the originating party.
GSMA - RCS Enrich Calling (Pre-call experience). Two new test cases for the testing enrichment of the voice call before the voice call is started. Originating party can “compose” and share content that the terminating party sees when receiving the voice call.
TC-01.06.03 Call Composer (Wireless bearer)
TC-01.06.04 Call Composer (WiFi bearer)
Redesign of notifications in RCS 1-to-1 Chat test cases. The 1-to-1 Chat test cases have been parametrized to allow two signalling flows: in the default one the first delivery notification is sent by the terminating party over SIP, in the second one the delivery notification is sent over MSRP.
Redesign of notifications in RCS File Transfer over HTTP test case. The File Transfer over HTTP test cases has been parametrized to allow two signalling flows: in the default one the first delivery notification is sent by the terminating party over MSRP, in the second one the delivery notification is sent over SIP.
Supplementary Service CFNRc. A test case to monitor the Communication Forwarding on Not Reachable supplementary service has been added to the VoLTE test suite. New test case:
TC-02.05.08 Communication Forwarding
SIP performance metrics (RFC 6076). A new set of performance metrics defined in RFC 6076 are now reported by the IMS test cases and the VoLTE voice and video call test cases. A new set of metrics added:
RRD (ms), Registration Request Delay
Successful SRD (s), Successful Session Request Delay
Failed SRD (s), Failed Session Request Delay
Successful SDD (ms), Session Disconnect Delay
Failed SDD (ms), Session Disconnect Delay
Successful SDT (s), Successful Session Duration Time
Failed SDT (s), Failed Session Duration Time
